Aide memoire

 (May 2007)

My last post got me thinking. Usually, seeing an illustration I created, even going back twenty years or so, I can recall vividly the weather, my emotional state of mind, who I was with, what was on TV at the time. The above for example, I can recall the weather as being wet and gloomy. But that's all I recall. My sketchbooks are more effective, because of their immediacy I suspect?

How useful a tool could doodling be when studying for an exam for example?  I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking like this.

Still, I don't recall that bloody chicken though.

Found a book that goes into this - here
